AZAR QUALITY CANDY RECIPES FROM

ALOHA BREAD

 

INGREDIENTS

1 C.  Coconut oil or shortening

1 C. Mashed banana

2 C. Granular sweetener (e.g. date sugar and/or Rapadora)

4  Eggs

4 C. Whole, wheat pastry flour

2 tsp.  Baking powder

1 tsp.  Baking soda

3/4 tsp.  Salt

1 C.  AzarÒ Flaked Unsweetened Dried Coconut

15 1/2 oz can Crushed pineapple with juice

 

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream oil & sugar. Add eggs and bananas and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold in pineapple (with juice) and coconut.  Pour into two greased and floured 9x5 loaf pans. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
